Description:
The Gypsum to Glenwood Canyon ride starts just west of Gypsum at
the BLM campgrounds. From here, ride the frontage road that
parallels the Eagle River. After 5.0 miles, the road crosses under
I-70 and away from the Eagle River. Continue riding as the road
bends back again to the west, crossing over the Colorado River.
Coming to an intersection with Colorado River Rd, riders should
continue straight. From here, ride approximately 2.75 miles to the
Glenwood Canyon parking area. This marks the beginning of the
Glenwood Canyon recreational bike trail. Return on the same route.
Riders that continue will have 14 miles through the canyon to
Glenwood Springs.
